Among the great necrotic tomb cities of Kuthan Kuthigar in the nation of Kuthi remains the most powerful ruled by the Lich Lord Annunkaru and his Cult of the Undying. From deep within the archaic subterranean chambers of Kuthigar’s tombs Annunkaru’s inner circle of master necromancers administer over the vast Undying Empire projecting their Lich Lord’s will over the blasted lands of Kuthan. As the necromancers of the Undying Cult develop their powers in the dark arts they eventually require a vessel to store their necromantic energies and create a focus and conduit to enhance their spells and magical items. These eldritch vessels are known as Familiars, a magical entity from another dimension summoned by necromancers in a binding ritual that ties them to the casters magical essence and creates a physical manifestation that exists in the world. Familiars can manifest themselves in a wide variety of forms and are particularly attracted to magic which feeds and sustains them while they exist in the world of Kuthan. Intensely curious about life and the Kuthanian dimension they find themselves in, once bound to their wizardly masters Familiars probe and exploring the world with a childlike naivety. Familiars are generally neutral creatures however their masters nature directly affects their character making them potentially unpredictable and dangerous if their master happens to be of an evil persuasion. Following their masters into battle the Undying Familiars support the spells and items used by the necromancers they are bound to with often explosive results as the spells and items take effect on the enemies of the Cult.

Details:

The Undying Familiars have been sculpted in a ‘Heroic’ 32mm scale on 28mm bases with their total height at 25mm tall and they will print best on a resin printer. The Undying Familiars come with Supported Files, Unsupported Files and a Build Manual.
